What is it?

Football Heroes League​ is an action packed, hero based, physics football/soccer game. Play online against an enemy team of 2-5 players and progress through the ranks on your journey to become "Soccer-God 3".

On Football Heroes League I was a Game Designer in-charge of multiple areas of development : ​

  • Directing the core stadium/level and leading the direction of future DLC levels.

  • Scaling level size to correlate with match sizes.

  • Generating variable shapes (walls, corners, slopes) to provide unique gameplay mix ups.

  • Lead the aesthetic direction of future levels and
    prototyping new gamemodes.

  • Collaborated with 3D art contractors to ensure the 
    directors vision was met on future levels.

  • Used Unreal Level Sequences to make levels
    feel lived and animated.

  • Worked closely with engineers to ensure levels were
    optimized and as performant as possible.

Level Design

  • Worked closely with the gameplay programmers and game director to create the first 5 playable characters of Football Heroes League.

  • ​Assisted with the creation of new character "skins / re-colors" ensuring each hero had a large backlog of enticing costumes to wear during a match.

  • Designed the kits for 2-3 characters will be released in the future, collaborating with our art team to create unique and visually appearing heroes.

  • Balanced and tuned character abilities to create fun, fair and engaging gameplay.

  • Performed QA testing on characters' abilities to identify edge-case bugs and inconsistencies.
